Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and MSMEs Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 18 highway projects in Rajasthan on 24 December 2020.
These projects carry a road length of nearly 1,127 km, involving construction value of Rs 8,341 crore.
The projects will ease transportation of commercial goods within and across the state, improve connectivity at the borders, enhance employment opportunities, save time and fuel, improve tourism and infra development, and result in providing connectivity for agricultural produce up to larger markets.
The Minister dedicated to the nation construction of balance works of six-laning of Jaipur Ring Road 0.300 km (Bagrana) to 46.700 km (Bhankarota) between Agra Road and Ajmer Road, NH-148C on EPC mode worth Rs 1,216.67 crore; four-lane/two-lane paved shoulders Dausa-Lalsot-Kauthoon section of NH-11A extn (New NH-148, 23) worth Rs 881 crore; two LPS of NH-70 from Munabao (NH-25E)-Sundra-Myajlar-Dhanana-Asutar-Ghotaru-Tanot under Phase-I of Bharatmala Pariyojana on HAM mode worth Rs 1,684 croer; two LPS of Gagaria (NH-25) – BaoriKalan-Serwa–Sata-Bakhasar & Sata to Gandhav (Package - BM/8) (EPC) New NH-925 & 925A worth Rs 1,134 crore.
The projects inaugurated include Kota-Darah of NH-12 from 256/550 to 289/550 worth Rs 621.43 crore; Balotra-Sanderao NH-325 (Package-II) from 58/0 (Mokalsar) to 91/600 (Jalore) worth Rs 179.32 crore; Rajgarh-Haryana border NH-709 Extn worth Rs 163.95 crore; and Nagaur Bypass from existing 166.260 km to 180.500 km of NH-65 worth Rs 155.76 crore.
The inauguration foundation stones were laid for construction of balance work as Part 2 (two cloverleaf's at tonk road (Prahladpura, Ajayrajpura and Hemaki Nangal) NH-52 and at Ajmer Road NH-48) (Bhankarota and Hasampura Bas Bhankarota) of Jaipur Ring Road (NH-148C) in the state of Rajasthan worth Rs 155.73 crore; upgradation to two-lane PS of Nagaur-Bikaner section by executing balance work from 177.00 km to 267.325 km on NH-89 (New NH-62) on EPC worth Rs 370.36 crore; upgradation to four lane with paved shoulder from the existing 58.245 km (Beawar) to the existing 108.600 km (Bhim) of NH-58 (Beawar-Gomti section) (Package-I) worth Rs 379.23 crore.
The foundation stones were also laid for upgradation to four lane with paved shoulders from the existing 108.60 km (Bhim) to 144.00 km (Baghana) & 158.419 km (Madaki Bassi) to 173.30 km (Gomti) of NH-58 (Beawar-Gomti section) on EPC mode (Package-II) worth Rs 339.65 crore and upgradation to two-lane PS of Ajmer-Nagaur Section by executing balance work from 0.000 km to 148.25 km on NH-89 (New NH-58) on EPC worth Rs 255.23 crore.
There has been 40 percent growth in road construction in the state during the last six years, and the length of NH in the state stands at 10,661 km now.
As many as 186 road works of 7,906 km worth Rs 73,583 crore were approved for the state during last six years. Works on 5,154 km worth Rs 30,000 crore were completed in six years.
Work is ongoing or is at DPR stage for projects worth Rs one lakh crore. The Ministry intends to complete 2,700 km length of NHs at a cost of Rs 35,000 crore by 2021-22, whereas another 2,500 km costing Rs 30,000 crore will be completed by 2023-24. DPR is being prepared for other projects of 2,811 km worth Rs 50,000 crore.
Under Bharatmala Pariyojana, works on 1,976 km worth Rs 32,302 crore will be done in the state and DPR is already being prepared for 14 projects of 800 km.
H.G. Infra Engineering has received PCC dated February 29, 2020, for the project entailing two-laning with paved shoulder for Balotra to Sanderao via Jalore section of NH-325 . . .

.......1985 में स्वतन्त्र विभाग के रूप में गठित, यह बच्चों एवं महिलाओं के सर्वांगीण विकास से सम्बन्धित है। विभाग के विविधतापूर्ण कार्यक्षेत्र को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए, 2008 से इसके अर्न्तगत निम्नानुसार 2 निदेशालय सृजित किये गये जिसमें बाल विकास से लेकर, महिला सशक्तिकरण, पोषण, बच्चों व महिलाओं के विरूद्व हिंसा के प्रकरण एवं अन्य सम्बन्धित विभागों के साथ संचालित समन्वयन कार्यक्रम संचालित है:-

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री महोदय के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में एक जीवंत विकास का दौर परिलक्षित है, जिसमें कल्याणकारी योजनाओं एवं पोषाहार कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से महिलाओं और बच्चों के विकास पर विशेष जोर दिया गया है।
महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग ने सर्वथा महिलाओं, बच्चों व किशोरियों के कल्याण को सुनिश्चित किया है। इनके स्वास्थ्य, पोषण, संरक्षण, पूर्व प्राथमिक शिक्षा व विकास को विभिन्न योजनाओं के माध्यम से बेहतर बनाया जा रहा है।
महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग ने अपने संकल्प को सुनिश्चित करने हेतु राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम, 2006 घरेलू हिंसा से महिलाओं का संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2005, बाल विवाह प्रतिषेध अधिनियम, 2006, राजस्थान डायन प्रताडना अधिनियम, 2015, कार्यस्थल पर महिलाओं का लैंगिक उत्पीडन एवं राजस्थान सामूहिम विवाह नियमन एवं अनुदान नियम, 2009 जैसे विभिन्न सामाजिक विधान लागू किये गये है।
विभाग द्वारा उक्त विधानों के प्रति महिलाओं एवं समाज के विभिन्न सदस्यों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है ताकि उक्त विधानों के प्रावधानों का वास्तविक लाभ प्राप्त हो सके।
